Meet Natalie Cleveland
Natalie’s journey into music began at a young age, fueled by her father’s jazz influences and her world stopping when she was 8 and heard Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel” on a roadtrip. From singing in talent shows as a little kid to signing her first record deal at age 15, Natalie’s passion for music has been unwavering. Her creative flair extends beyond music, encompassing experience as a creative director, cinematographer, video editor and graphic designer. She’s showcased her creativity on FOX’s LegoMasters and even won a build challenge. With a warm, offbeat personality and quick wit, Natalie brings a unique perspective to both the sonic and visual aspects of Tangerine Cassette. She loves a good thrift haul, DIY home projects and a blonde vanilla latte.
Meet Josh Roach
Josh’s musical journey began at age 3 when he found a snare drum in the garage. That led him to become a multifaceted musician, blending his love for indie alt-pop with movie soundtracks into a distinctive style. He’s had a record deal with Warner Bro’s, played for sold-out performances in 18,000 seat arenas, and co-written a #1 song on Billboard/MediaBase for 5 consecutive weeks. He’s scored on projects for NASA, Coke, HP, MCDonald’s and UnderArmor to name a few. Josh brings a wealth of experience and eclectic musical influences to Tangerine Cassette, infusing the duo’s dynamic sound with his energy and creativity. He’s very into alien conspiracy theories, OU football and is a massive movie buff (horror films are his fav).

With a hands-on approach to their craft, Tangerine Cassette formed in 2021 crafting what they affectionately term “noise pop,” infusing their music with unique sounds sourced from everyday life. From sampling spoons in a ziplock bag for a backbeat to capturing the rhythm of windshield wipers or the hum of a blender, they transform mundane into magical, crafting infectious tunes that resonate with audiences. Their genre-hopping abilities leave their music as diverse as your Bumble matches.
